I have been passionate about photography for many years and am now running my own photography business from my coastal cottage on Mersea Island.
I have won numerous awards with my images. I am a Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society, the Arena and Beyond Group of Photographers. My work has been exhibited at The Victoria and Albert Museum the London Salon of Photography and in many countries around the world.
My imaginative and artistic eye works through the camera lens to capture your special moments to treasure forever. I specialise in child and adult portraiture, fine art images, sailing events and commercial photography. Whether you are looking for a family, baby or child portrait, original and inspired wedding photos or something on a commercial basis I can offer you a friendly, individual service.
It is so very often the photos that you didn’t know were being taken that you love the most. Therefore photography, particularly child portraiture should not be hurried. Children need to feel safe, at ease with their environment and relaxed. My natural style of photography means there is seldom need to use a studio. I can capture beautiful images in natural light in and around my cottage. I have a large garden and a small private beach that provides an ideal setting for this atmosphere to be created. However, if you wish I can take photos in any other setting that might be special to you.
I am also available for weddings and will work unobtrusively throughout your special day to capture the emotions, happiness and magical moments of the occasion.
Prices:
Sailing events vary and depend on the needs of the organisation.
For Commercial Imagery I charge an hourly rate of £40 per hour and will provide a selection of required images on a CD.
Portraiture charges are £65.00 per session to include one 5x7 image with any subsequent portraits ranging from an 8x10 print £25.00 to 16x24 £80.
My prices for Weddings start from £950.00 this includes my services from early morning if required, until the first dance and a photobook record of the day.
